Water Catchment Parliamentary Enquiry

12-Apr-2010

RTRA President Steve Pretzel and MWA Executive Director Rick Gill appeared before the Parliamentary Enquiry into recreation in water catchment areas on March 31st.

The position of both organisations is that the current policy of excluding trail bikes from water catchment areas is not the best way of protecting drinking water, and that controlled access to these areas would be a more effective way of managing any impacts.

Transcripts of the hearing will be made available to RTRA members as soon as they are cleared for publication by the Enquiry.
