Off Road Motorcycle Industry Forum

The first meeting of the RTRA / MTA Off Road Motorcycle Industry Forum was held on Tuesday, September 4.

A panel of speakers including Mick Murray MLA (Member for Collie), Tony Simpson MLA (Member for Darling Range), Geordie Thompson (Department of Sport and Recreation), Vince Tamagi (Department of Transport) and Steve Pretzel (RTRA) updated the group on the projects underway and the progress towards the State Trail Bike Strategy.

Representing the motorcycle manufacturers were Toby Mailes, State Manager of Polaris, John Brennan, State Manager of Honda and KTM / Husaberg Australian General Manager, Jeff Liesk.   Retailers in attendance included Eddie Peters (The Honda Shop), Strett Cull (Cully's Yamaha), and Steve Riley (Steve's Motorcycles).

The Off Road Motorcycle Industry Forum is where members of the industry can get involved and discuss the issues that impact on riders and the industry.
