ARG Warns Trespassers - Stay Off Our Land

14-May-2009

ARG, the owner of the railway yards south the of Off Road Vehicle Area at Kwinana have indicated that they intend to prosecute any person found trespassing on their property.

This is a very regrettable backwards step from ARG's previous position, which was to allow riding on part of the property provided that bikes did not go near the barracks area where night-shift train drivers sleep or the railway yards (or lines) themselves.

ARG claims that due to the actions of irresponsible riders crossing the railway lines and putting ARG workers in danger, the company has had no option but to prohibit all access in its land and will be involving police, Shire rangers and security contractors to prosecute anyone found on ARG land.

This is, of course, extremely frustrating for those riders who were doing the right thing in the area, but RTRA entirely understands ARG's position.
